The Day of Arts

Back for its second edition, the French American Cultural Days return to San Francisco with a full day dedicated to Francophone creativity, artistic dialogue and cultural exchange.

 

After welcoming over 800 attendees in 2025, FACD 2026 continues to grow as a vibrant meeting point for artists, thinkers, and communities of all ages and backgrounds. Through performances, exhibitions, workshops, and immersive experiences, FACD invites the public to explore art not only as something to see, but as something to live together.

What to Expect

Illustrator Yann Legendre will bring his visual universe to life through bold and striking illustrations.

 

Artistic moments by the San Francisco Ballet et du San Francisco Girls Chorus, celebrating movement, harmony and emotion. The photography exhibition "De l’Ombre à la Lumière", created in collaboration with photographer Fred Aube.

Adding rhythm to the day, a high-energy Krump dance session led by Alan Ark with Baybvck, and before that, a fashion show presented by students from the Academy of Art University de San Francisco.

Visitors will also discover the paintings of Marie Détrée, Official Painter of the French Navy.​ Sjj Agency will be on-site with engaging activities for kids. And floral designs by Sève will add a poetic touch to the event.

The day will conclude with the world premiere of Stay Trippy Little Hippy, performed by American actress Stacey Legendre, with more artistic surprises throughout the celebration !

French Flavors & Culinary Experience

During the French American Cultural Days, visitors will enjoy a curated selection of French-inspired food, pastries, artisan treats and wines offered by local culinary partners throughout the day. Between performances, exhibitions, and workshops, the courtyard will transform into a vibrant gathering space where art, conversation and gastronomy come together.

 

Take a gourmet break, discover authentic flavors, and experience French culture through one of its most beloved traditions: food and shared moments around the table.

 

Whether you come for the art, the performances, the food, or simply the atmosphere, FACD invites you to experience French culture with all your senses.
