French American Cultural Days

Celebrating arts and the power of shared culture

About

Held in the heart of San Francisco, this multi-day event brings together artists, performers and cultural advocates for a series of exhibitions, workshops and interactive experiences. The event aims to showcase the richness of French and American artistic traditions while fostering dialogue and collaboration across borders.

Our goal is to create a space where art and heritage can intersect, allowing for meaningful connections and shared experiences.

The French American Cultural Days are a testament to the power of cultural exchange in bringing people together.

For many of the artists involved, the event is a powerful opportunity to connect with other creatives and to share their work with new audiences. “It is incredibly inspiring to meet other artists and see how they use their craft to express their cultural heritage,” says one of our participating artist. “It feels like we are all speaking the same language, even though our styles and backgrounds are so different.”

In addition to visual arts, the event features a series of live performances, ranging from contemporary dance to spoken word poetry. These performances brings an added layer of dynamism to the event, engaging audiences on an emotional and visceral level.

Looking ahead, Culture Without Border plans to continue its mission of fostering cultural dialogue and artistic exchange. The French American Cultural Days marks a significant step in establishing a tradition of international  cultural events.

A Kaleidoscope of Arts

The French American Cultural Days is a vibrant celebration of arts, blending music, cinema, literature, visual arts, dance, and more. Each edition brings together exceptional talents from both sides of the Atlantic for a day of performances, exhibits, and workshops.

Over the years, we have had the honor of welcoming inspiring artists such as Sébastien Pridmore. In 2025, the program featured the artist Milène Guermont and the renowned Chorus Girls, under the artistic direction of Valérie de Saint-Agathe. Following our event, Valérie de Saint-Agathe was awarded the prestigious French distinction Ordre des Arts et des Lettres by the Consulate General of France in San Francisco, a recognition that further highlights the excellence and cultural impact of our guests.
