A Journey Through Nature and History: Art in Natural Pigments
Sebastien Pridmore is a Franco-Swiss painter based in California. His work, created using natural pigments, explores the profound connections between history, nature, and heritage.
The painting of L’Hermione, featured on this year’s poetry contest flyer, pays tribute to the iconic frigate, a symbol of freedom and friendship between France and the United States. It also accompanies the major renovation effort currently underway. This piece will be auctioned by the French Consulate in San Francisco to support the restoration project.
