A week of global connection and trumpet brilliance in the heart of Utah.
From May 27 to 31, Culture Without Border along with our partner Gabadito foundation, were proud to be support Michel Jacquot at the 49th International Trumpet Guild Conference in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Hosted between the Little America Hotel and the University of Utah School of Music, the event brought together hundreds of trumpet enthusiasts, professionals, students, and educators from across the globe for five days of nonstop musical exchange.
From early morning warm-ups to late evening concerts, the conference offered a packed schedule of performances, lectures, masterclasses, and exhibitions: a true celebration of trumpet artistry in all its forms.
Among the many highlights were the "Opening Fanfare" and "Festival of Trumpets," open-air concerts that welcomed the public and filled the city with music.
For Michel Jacquot, this was more than a professional gathering: it was a chance to rediscover his own instrument through fresh perspectives, and to connect with a worldwide community of passionate musicians, from emerging talents to seasoned performers.
As Culture Without Border continues to support the global exchange of artistic knowledge and practices, we celebrate Michel’s participation in this international dialogue, proving once again that music transcends borders, generations, and genres.
Stay tuned for a photo report of the event, coming soon !
