The French American Cultural Days (FACD2026) return to San Francisco for their second edition on March 14, 2026, hosted by Culture Without Border at the Lycée Français de San Francisco.

After a successful 2025 who brought in approximately nearly 800 attendees, this year’s FACD will once again bring together artists, performers and audiences to celebrate the richness of French-American creativity.

Throughout the day, visitors will enjoy a vibrant mix of performances, exhibitions and immersive experiences: Dance and music performances by the San Francisco Ballet and the San Francisco Girls Chorus. We will also present you a new photography exhibition “De l’Ombre à la Lumière” featuring photographer Fred Aube, exploring the other side of expat life. A creative fashion show presented by students from the Academy of Art University in SF. Expressive paintings by Marie Détrée, the Official Painter of the French Navy, on display. Yann Legendre will be joining us, bringing his bold visual language to life through striking illustrations. Visitors will also experience a rich and diverse program of performances, exhibitions and workshops !

As part of the event, FACD will also welcome the laureates and jury members of the Poetry Contest (Le Concours de Poésie): a signature program led by Culture Without Border and the Gabadito Foundation, and now closing its third global edition. Each year, this competition brings together hundreds of participants from across the Francophone world, celebrating the beauty of language, rhythm and emotion. The contest’s mission goes far beyond words: it aims to connect cultures, give a voice to diversity and make poetry accessible to all. During the FACD, visitors will have the chance to meet some of the poets whose works were selected and to experience live readings that echo the event’s theme of creativity and inclusion. Through this collaboration, FACD becomes not only a space for art but also a platform for dialogue and human connection, a living expression of Culture Without Border’s spirit: From Art to Heart.
